The firm provides services to those in the entertainment industry and in media relations. Our work in entertainment law is multidisciplinary, and covers areas including but not limited to contract law, employment law, intellectual property law, corporate, publicity and privacy. Much of the work is transactional, calling for negotiation and drafting contracts, but some matters involve disputes which may lead to litigation.
The concept of media in our society is changing rapidly. The internet and other forms of communication have allowed people and businesses to connect in a multitude of ways in the virtual community. Individuals and businesses need to manage their on-line presence. All publicity is not necessarily good publicity. The firm assists clients who want to maximize their publicity, and also clients who want to minimize publicity.
The internet and social media can also be a source of injury, when a person is the victim of cyber-bullying or false publicity. The firm helps clients who have been victimized in this way.
